NEW HAVEN, Conn. – First-year Hannah Weyerhaeuser recorded her first career hat trick to lead the Yale women's ice hockey team to a 4-2 win over Providence on Monday night at Ingalls Rink. Weyerhaeuser's career night extended the No. 10 Bulldogs' winning streak to nine games.
With the victory, Yale improved to 17-7 overall. The Bulldogs are undefeated in 2026 with a perfect 8-0 record. Providence dropped to 7-15-2 overall.

• Yale and Providence played for the first time since 2018. The Bulldogs hold the 4-1 advantage over the Friars since 2013.
• Yale won its ninth straight game, the team's longest win streak since the 2022-23 season, when the Bulldogs won 15 straight games.
• The Bulldogs wrapped up their regular season non-conference schedule with a 6-2 record.
• Weyerhaeuser recorded her eighth, ninth, and 10th goals of the season. She is fourth on the team in scoring.
• Ray tallied her 20th assist of the year. It's the third time in her Bulldogs career that she has hit that mark.
• Muhn recorded her first collegiate point, assisting on Weyerhaeuser's second goal in the third period.
