Reno Named Ivy League Co-Offensive Player of the Week

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Junior quarterback Dante Reno of the Yale football team has been named the Ivy League Co-Offensive Player of the Week following his performance on Saturday against Merrimack. 

The Bulldogs erased a 21-7 second-quarter deficit and outscored the Warriors 34-3 over the remainder of the game. Reno threw for 298 yards and four touchdowns, including a 50-yard completion, while adding a career-high 39 rushing yards. His rushing total surpassed his entire total from the 2025 season.

Reno was also selected as this week's New England Football Writers Association Gold Helmet Award winner, presented by the Jack Grinold/Eastern Massachusetts Chapter of the National Football Foundation. Yale returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 10 when they host Dartmouth for a noontime matchup. The game will air live in ESPNU.
