NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Sean Grogan led the way with a team-high four goals as nine different Bulldogs found the net, lifting the Yale men's lacrosse team to a 15–9 victory over Marist in its home opener Tuesday night at Reese Stadium.
Grogan had a stellar five-point night (four goals, one assist), powering a Yale attack led by its first-years, who netted seven of the team's goals. The Bulldogs also broke the game open with a seven-goal surge in the third quarter.
With the win, Yale improves to 1-1, and Marist drops to 0-2.
