NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Following a strong week of competition at the Ivy League Championships at Brown,
Jessey Li of the Yale women's swimming and diving team garnered First Team All-Ivy honors. Additionally,
Ele Donegan earned Academic All-Ivy honors.
Li earned the honors after capturing gold in the 100-yard breaststroke on day three of the championships with a time of 1:00.55. The senior has dominated the event throughout her four-year career, earning a medal every season, winning gold as a first-year, taking silver
in both her sophomore and junior years, and finishing her career with another gold.
Donegan, a standout senior for the Bulldogs in the pool and the classroom is a Physics Major. This season, she was part of the 200-yard freestyle relay quartet that won the event against Cornell in a Kiphuth Pool record time of 1:31.96. Additionally, she was part of 400-yard medley relay that finished fourth at the Ivy League Championships.
