NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale men's tennis team picked up two wins on Saturday at Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center, defeating Penn State, 7-0, and then Fairfield, 4-0 later in the day.
Against Penn State, the Bulldogs got off to a quick start, as the duos of
Vignesh Gogineni and
Edward Liao and
Jason Shuler and
Dylan Tsoi secured the doubles point. Yale didn't look back in singles, going undefeated to securing the dominant victory.
Later in the day against Fairfield, Yale continued to be strong, as the pairs of Gogineni and Liao and
Jim Ji and
Varun Verma won the doubles point. Gogineni, Liao, and Tsoi then finished off the match with wins.
