PRINCETON, N.J. – The Yale men's hockey team fell to Princeton, 3-1, at Hobey Baker Rink. The loss drops Yale to 7-16-0 overall and 6-9-0 in ECAC Hockey, while the Tigers improved to 13-9-1 overall and 9-6-0 in conference play.
Period 1: Yale 0, Princeton 0
- Yale generated nine shots on goal in the opening period, including five on the power play, but was unable to find the back of the net.
Period 2: Princeton 2, Yale 1
- 1:00 (PRI) – Just one minute into the second frame, Princeton struck first to take the game's opening lead.
- 8:47 (YAL) – Yale responded on the power play nearly eight minutes later. Zachary Wagnon started the sequence by winning a faceoff back to Hughie Hooker, who handed it off to David Chen to get the man-advantage play set. Chen then found Wagnon in the deep slot for a one-timer to tie the game.
- 13:37 (PRI) – A point shot tipped past Noah Pak restored the Princeton lead.
Period 3: Princeton 3, Yale 1
- 19:51.8 (PRI) – With 8.2 seconds remaining, the Tigers added an empty-net goal to seal the win.

- Noah Pak made 38 saves in goal for Yale, recording his sixth 30-plus-save game and third 35-plus-save performance of the season.
- Zachary Wagnon scored his fourth goal of the season and his second on the power play.
- David Chen recorded his team-leading 12th assist of the season and now has 10 points in the 2026 calendar year.
- Hughie Hooker added his eighth assist of the season.
