Chen, Hooker Earn All-Ivy Honors

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Ivy League announced its postseason accolades Wednesday, and two members of the Yale men's hockey team were honored.

For the second time in his career, David Chen earned postseason recognition from the conference, being named Second Team All-Ivy following his senior season. Last year, he received All-Ivy Honorable Mention honors.

In Ivy League play, the captain posted 10 points (3 goals, 7 assists) in 10 games against conference opponents. He also recorded 21 shots, five blocked shots and won 45 percent of his faceoffs.

Overall this season, Chen set career highs in points (24) and assists (17) while leading the team in both categories.

In addition, Chen was named Yale's Academic All-Ivy recipient. At the conclusion of the ECAC Hockey regular season, he was also named the conference's Men's Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

Sophomore Hughie Hooker earned year-end honors from the conference for the first time in his career, being named All-Ivy Honorable Mention for the 2025-26 season. In 10 games against Ivy opponents, the defenseman recorded seven points (1 goal, 6 assists) along with 14 shots and five blocked shots.
