NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Caroline Riggs of the Yale women's swimming and diving team is set to participate in the NCAA Swimming Championships in Atlanta, Georgia.
In her first-ever NCAA appearance, Riggs will participate as the No. 34 overall seed in the 1650 yard freestyle event on Wednesday, March 18. She earned qualification in the event with a time of 16:15.74, which earned a fourth place finish in the event at the Ivy League Championships and was an 11-second improvement over her time from 2025.
Riggs is the first Yale swimmer to qualify for the NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championship since Iszac Henig competed in the 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle and 100 butterfly in 2022.
The championships will be held Mar. 18-21 at the McAuley Aquatic Center. Georgia Institute of Technology will serve as the host.
