NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Elena Ohe delivered a walk-off double in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift Yale softball to a 5-4 victory over Hofstra. The Bulldogs improved to 7-12 overall, while the Pride fell to 9-13.
- T1 – Hofstra opened the scoring with a solo home run from the leadoff batter. (HOF 1, YAL 0)
- B1 – Yale responded in the bottom half of the inning. With a runner on first and two outs, Libby Peoples ripped an RBI double over the left fielder's head to tie the game. (YAL 1, HOF 1)
- T3 – The Pride regained the lead with an RBI double to center field. (HOF 2, YAL 1)
- T6 – Back-to-back doubles to open the inning extended Hofstra's lead, and another double two batters later made it a three-run game. (HOF 4, YAL 1)
- B6 – The Bulldogs answered with a run in the bottom half, as Grace Westmoreland's infield single brought one home. (HOF 4, YAL 2)
- T7 – Relief pitcher Ellie Joseph retired the side in order to keep Yale within two.
- B7 – The seventh inning belonged to Yale. Joseph worked a six-pitch at-bat to draw a leadoff walk. Demi Donahoe followed with a shallow single to center, putting the tying run on base. Isabella Fortini then lined a double down the left field line, scoring Joseph and moving Donahoe to third. With two outs, Elena Ohe stepped to the plate and delivered, driving a double down the left field line to score Donahoe and Fortini for the walk-off victory. (YAL 5, HOF 4)
