SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Three members of the Yale men's fencing team competed at the NCAA Fencing Championships over the weekend at Notre Dame.
The Bulldogs placed 12th overall in the team standings.
First year
Yonjae Kim placed ninth in foil, just narrowly missing out on All-American honors. Senior
Vinni Yu also competed in foil, placing 18th overall in his final collegiate event.
First year
David Frumgarzts competed in saber, placing 15th.
The Yale men's fencing team will graduate three seniors and will return more than a dozen athletes with collegiate experience next year.
