No. 5 Yale Hosts No. 17 Army West Point, Visits RV Dartmouth This Week

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The No. 5 Yale women's lacrosse team hosts No. 17 Army West Point Tuesday (12:00 p.m., ESPN+, International Stream, Live Stats) and then travels to RV Dartmouth Saturday (3:30 p.m., ESPN+, International Stream, Live Stats). 
 
The Bulldogs
  • Last time out, Yale (9-1, 3-0 Ivy League) won 16-8 at then-No. 19 Princeton on Saturday. The Bulldogs broke open a 4-4 game with an 8-0 run and never looked back.
  • Yale is ranked in three national polls:
    • No. 5 in the ILWomen poll
    • No. 7 in the IWLCA poll
    • No. 4 in the USA Lacrosse poll
  • Yale is 39-4 at Reese Stadium since the opening of Tsai Lacrosse Field House in 2021.
  • Yale is in the middle of a stretch in which four of its five opponents are ranked or receiving votes in the ILWomen poll.     • Senior defender Emmy Pascal (Lorton, Va.), Yale's captain, leads the Ivy League in caused turnovers (25) and is tied for sixth in the Ivy League in ground balls (20).
    • Sophomore goalkeeper Niamh Pfaff (Garden City, N.Y.) is second nationally in goals-against average (6.34) and fourth nationally in save percentage (.521).
