NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The No. 39 Yale men's tennis team put up a strong fight but ultimately fell to No. 27 Pepperdine, 4-2, on Wednesday afternoon at Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center.
The Waves jumped out to an early lead by claiming the doubles point and carried that momentum into singles play, where they secured the match with three victories.
Vignesh Gogineni and
Jim Ji each earned singles wins for the Bulldogs.
