Bulldogs Rout George Washington on the Road

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Yale baseball team experienced an offensive explosion in the Nation's Capital on Friday afternoon. The Bulldogs routed George Washington University 18-3 to kick off the three-game series in emphatic fashion. The duo of Chris DiPrima and Colin Sloan combined for seven hits and 10 RBIs.

With the victory, Yale improved to 4-3 overall this season. George Washington dropped to 5-7 overall.

Key Performers
• Sloan had a massive day at the plate, going 4-for-6 with a double, a home run and five RBIs. He also scored three runs.
• DiPrima went 3-for-4 with five RBIs of his own. He walked twice and scored a pair of runs.
Davis Hanson recorded a three-hit game, driving in three runs.

• Top 3rd | The Bulldogs struck first after DiPrima hit into a fielder's choice, scoring Garrett Larsen. 1-0 YALE

Jack Ohman started on the mound, tossing 4.1 innings while allowing one earned run. He did not allow a hit and struck out six.
Tate Evans relieved Ohman in the fifth and picked up his first win of the season. He threw 1.2 innings and allowed one earned run. Teo Spadaccini closed out the game, tossing 3.0 innings while allowing one earned run.
