Bulldogs Explode for 15 Runs, Win Rubber Game Against George Washington University

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Yale baseball team continued to display its offensive firepower, putting up 15 runs in the rubber match between the Bulldogs and George Washington University on Sunday. Yale topped GWU 15-11 to win the final game of the three-game series. Sophomore Jack Dauer led the way for the Bulldogs with a massive game at the plate.

With the win, Yale improved to 5-4 overall. GWU dropped to 6-8 overall.

  • Dauer went 2-for-5 with a grand slam and a double. He tallied six RBIs and scored two runs.
  • Relief pitcher Tate Evans picked up the save, tossing 4.0 innings while allowing just one earned run. He struck out seven batters.
