WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Yale baseball team continued to display its offensive firepower, putting up 15 runs in the rubber match between the Bulldogs and George Washington University on Sunday. Yale topped GWU 15-11 to win the final game of the three-game series. Sophomore
Jack Dauer led the way for the Bulldogs with a massive game at the plate.
With the win, Yale improved to 5-4 overall. GWU dropped to 6-8 overall.

- Dauer went 2-for-5 with a grand slam and a double. He tallied six RBIs and scored two runs.
- Relief pitcher Tate Evans picked up the save, tossing 4.0 innings while allowing just one earned run. He struck out seven batters.

- The Yale offense was on full display against GWU over the course of three games. The Bulldogs put up a total of 38 runs.
- Dauer hit the second grand slam of his career and the first of the season. He leads the team with 14 RBIs through nine games.
- Turner hit his first collegiate home run.
- Garrett Larsen picked up two more hits. He leads the team in batting average (.361).
- Brett Faccio started the game on the mound for the Bulldogs, pitching 0.2 innings before being relieved by Daniel Cohen. Cohen tossed 4.1 innings while allowing four earned runs.
