NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale baseball team dropped an Ivy League matchup on the road to Cornell on Friday afternoon. The Big Red topped the Bulldogs 5-3 in the opening game of a three-game set.
With the victory, Cornell improved to 7-21 overall with a 5-8 mark in Ivy League play. Yale dropped to 20-11 with a 9-4 record in conference games.

• Senior Daniel Cohen started the game on the mound for the Bulldogs. He tossed 4.1 innings while allowing four earned runs. He was relieved by Ben Winslow and Brett Faccio.
