HANOVER, N.H. – The Yale softball team capped its season with an 11-3 loss to Dartmouth in five innings on Sunday afternoon. The Bulldogs finished the season with a 17-28 overall record and a 7-14 mark in Ivy League play. The Big Green improved to 8-22 overall and 5-12 in conference action.

Scoring Summary

• B1 – A one-out, two-RBI triple put the Big Green on the board first. (DAR 2, YAL 0)
• T3 – Yale answered in the third inning. Ella Cross and Jane Littleton reached to put runners on first and second for Grace Westmoreland, who dropped a single into shallow right field to score Cross. In the next at-bat, Ava Kang laced a ball up the middle to bring home Littleton and Westmoreland, giving the Bulldogs the lead. (YAL 3, DAR 2)
• B3 – Dartmouth tied the game on a sacrifice fly to right field before taking the lead on a single down the left field line later in the inning. (DAR 4, YAL 3)
• B4 – A single up the middle followed by a three-run home run to center field extended the Big Green's lead. (DAR 8, YAL 3)
• B5 – Dartmouth recorded four hits and plated three runs to secure the run-rule victory. (DAR 11, YAL 3)

• Emma Taylor recorded four strikeouts in her final appearance in the circle for the Bulldogs. She finishes her career with 304 strikeouts, ranking second all-time in program history.
• Ava Kang went 2-for-3 with two RBI.
• Grace Westmoreland went 2-for-3 with a double, one run scored, and one RBI.
