NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale football team has announced its 2026 schedule, featuring five games at the historic Yale Bowl, Class of 1954 Field.
Team 153 will open the season with back-to-back road contests, beginning Sept. 19 at Holy Cross. The Bulldogs have opened each season against the Crusaders since 2018. Yale will then travel to Cornell on Sept. 26 for its Ivy League opener. The Big Red finished fifth in the conference standings last season
Yale returns to the Yale Bowl on Oct. 3 to begin a three-game homestand, starting with a non-conference matchup against Merrimack. It will mark the first meeting between the two programs.
The homestand continues Oct. 10 against Dartmouth, which finished third in the Ivy League standings last season, before the Bulldogs wrap up both the stretch and non-conference play against Rhode Island on Oct. 17.
Yale hits the road again Oct. 24 at Penn to open a pivotal five-game run of Ivy League contests, followed by a matchup at Columbia on Oct. 31.
The Bulldogs close out their home schedule with games against Brown on Nov. 7 and Princeton on Nov. 14, with the latter serving as Senior Day.
Yale will cap the regular season on Nov. 21 at Fenway Park against Harvard. The 141st edition of The Game last season was historic, as the Bulldogs secured the Ivy League title and the conference's first-ever FCS playoff bid with a 45–28 victory over the Crimson at the Yale Bowl.
