NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale baseball team trounced the University of New Haven on Wednesday afternoon at George H.W. Bush '48 Field. The Bulldogs topped the Chargers 20-0 in the non-conference matchup. The game was called after the top of the seventh due to the run margin.
With the victory, Yale improved to 17-9 overall. New Haven dropped to 3-21 overall.
Top Performers
• Junior Kaiden Dossa walked five times, scored four runs and tallied one stolen base.
• Junior Garrett Larsen went 3-for-4 with four runs scored and three RBIs.
• First year Jackson Hays drove in three runs and stole three bases.

• B1 | The Bulldogs scored two runs in the first, playing small ball. After Dossa led off with a walk and stole second, Larsen reached on an error. Chris DiPrima and Hays laid down back-to-back bunts to plate two runs. 2-0 YALE

Game Notes
• Yale played New Haven for the first time since 2002, a 14-2 win for the Bulldogs.
• The Bulldogs posted their highest run total of the season. Yale has registered double-digit run totals in eight games this season.
• Yale drew 13 walks and had five batters hit by pitches.
• Six Bulldogs recorded multi-RBI games.
• Ricky Nunez and Pablo Rodriguez made their collegiate debuts for Yale. Rodriguez lined a triple into the gap in his first at-bat.
• Nick West started the game on the mound, tossing three scoreless innings. He was relieved by Levi Strahm, Alex Hwang and Brett Faccio. The four pitchers combined for a seven-inning shutout.
