NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Twelve Yale football student-athletes have been named to the 2026 National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame (NFF) Hampshire Honor Society, recognizing excellence on the field and in the classroom.
Earning distinction for the Bulldogs are Nico Brown, Cameron Charron, Wilhelm Daal, Da'Quan Gonzales, Marshall Howe, Jack Michalik, Joseph Nash, Josh Pitsenberger, Mason Shipp, Joshua Tarver, Melik Williams, and Dylan Yang.
With this year's selections, Yale ranks ninth all-time across all divisions and fifth among FCS programs with 168 Hampshire Honor Society honorees.
The NFF Hampshire Honor Society recognizes college football players from all divisions of the NCAA, NAIA, and sprint football who have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher throughout their collegiate careers. Nominated by their respective institutions, honorees must be either graduating seniors who completed their final season of eligibility in 2025 or student-athletes who have already earned their undergraduate degree and competed during the 2025 season. All honorees must have been starters or significant contributors during the season.
Since its inception in 2007, the program has recognized more than 23,500 student-athletes and continues to highlight excellence in both academics and athletics.
Yale is one of 23 programs to have had at least one honoree in each of the program's 20 years, joining BYU, Brown, Bucknell, Columbia, Dartmouth, Dayton, Iowa, Johns Hopkins, Kentucky, Lafayette, Minnesota, North Dakota, North Dakota State, Penn State, Redlands, Saint John's, SMU, South Dakota State, Wayne State, West Virginia, Wingate, and Youngstown State.
