EUGENE, Ore. – The magical 2026 season for the Yale baseball team came to an end on Saturday afternoon at PK Park at the University of Oregon in the NCAA Eugene Regional. The fourth-seeded Bulldogs were eliminated by second-seeded Oregon State. The Beavers topped the Bulldogs 9-2.
Yale dropped its opening game of the Eugene Regional on Friday to No. 11 national seed Oregon. Saturday's loss marked the end of a remarkable season for the Bulldogs, culminating in Ivy League Regular Season and Tournament Championships. Yale finished the 2026 campaign with a 30-15-1 record.
Oregon State improved to 44-13 overall and will advance to play the loser of the winner's bracket matchup between Oregon and third-seeded Washington State.

• Tate Evans delivered a strong performance on the mound in his final collegiate game. Evans tossed 5.1 innings while allowing three earned runs.
