Ha Tabbed 2026-27 Captain

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Rachel Sapir-Kahan, the Swensen-McMahon Head Coach of Women's Tennis, has announced that for the second consecutive year, Erin Ha will serve as captain for the Bulldogs.

"We are excited to have Erin lead our team for a second year," said Sapir-Kahan. "We had a successful season last year thanks to her leadership and are looking forward to building off of that. Erin truly embraces the team aspect and supports her teammates extremely well."

Ha is coming off a strong junior campaign, posting a 17-3 overall record this season, including five wins in Ivy action while playing at the No. 5 and No. 6 singles positions. Additionally, she picked up 14 wins in doubles, seeing the majority of her time at the No. 3 position and partnering with Shyla Aggarwal.

"I'm so grateful for the opportunity to lead such a talented team," said Ha. "After everything we accomplished this past year, I can't wait to see what this season has in store for us - especially with three strong additions to the program. Go Bulldogs!"

In addition to being a force on the court, she has also distinguished herself academically, recently earning CSC Academic All-District accolades.
