NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Yale women's crew team kicked off its trip at the Henley Royal Regatta in style, as the Bulldogs' B entry in the Island Challenge Cup qualified for the event after a strong performance in the qualifying race on Saturday. Additionally, the draws were announced for this week's competition have been released. Race times to be announced.

Will Porter, the YWC Head Coach of the Bulldogs. "They are development athletes who are making gains everyday. It is good to see them get the reward for doing the work. Now they get to race it up at Henley with the Y on their back."
The Bulldogs' B crew drew Newcastle University A and will race in the opening round of competition on Wednesday, July 1. The winner of that race will then advance to take on the University of Washington A on Thursday, July 2, which is when Yale's A entry will also face the winner of the Cambridge University B and D.S.R.V. Laga race. The Bulldogs' A crew in the Bridge Challenge Plate event will begin racing on Friday, July 3, taking on either A.U.S.R. Orca & N.S.R.V. Phocas or Leander Club.
