NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale men's tennis team has earned ITA All-Academic Team honors, the organization announced on Monday. Additionally, all 10 student-athletes were named ITA Scholar-Athletes.
In 2026, 1,008 Division I Men's student-athletes were named ITA Scholar-Athletes, and 162 men's tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.
The 10 Bulldogs who earned the Scholar-Athlete honors are:
Ethan Chung,
Vignesh Gogineni,
Krish Gupta,
Jim Ji,
Troy Kudrjavtsev,
Eric Li,
Edward Liao,
Jason Shuler,
Dylan Tsoi, and
Varun Verma.
To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, one must meet the following requirements:
• Have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year
• Be listed on the institutional eligibility form
To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must meet the following requirements:
• Have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale)
• All student-athletes included must be listed on the institutional eligibility form
• All varsity letter winners must be factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year
