NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale women's lacrosse team had three first-years named to ILWomen's 2026 "Top 100 Freshman Rankings". The media outlet announced the rankings Tuesday. The top 50 were ranked and the remaining 50 were unranked and listed as "watch list".
Here is a look at Yale's selections, all of whom were named to the watch list:
- First-year attacker Giselle DiPietro (Cos Cob, Conn.) was a USA Lacrosse All-American this past season and was a two-time first team all-state selection.
- First-year attacker Emma Mohn (Sykesville, Md.) was a three-time all-conference selection and a three-time Baltimore Sun All-Metro selection.
- First-year midfielder Lucia Nash (Denville, N.J.) was a USA Lacrosse All-American this past season and has been a member of the USA Lacrosse U-19 and U-16 teams. She recently played for Puerto Rico in the World Lacrosse Women's World Championship.
The newcomers join a Yale team that is enjoying an extended run of success. The Bulldogs are coming off a 2026 season in which they won the Ivy League regular season championship for the second time in three years, advanced to the Ivy League Tournament championship game for the fifth straight year and earned a spot in the NCAA Tournament for the third straight season.
This year's Top 100 selections join the 10 Bulldogs who were chosen for this list in the previous three years to give Yale more Top 100 selections in the last four years than any other Ivy League team.
