CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Four members of the Yale men's tennis team wrapped up competition at the Chowderfest Invitational on Sunday, with both doubles teams securing victories.
Edward Liao and
Jim Ji opened with a 6-3 win over Harvard's Bill Chan and James MacDonald.
Dylan Tsoi and
Jason Shuler followed with another 6-3 victory, defeating Virginia Tech's Thomás Brandão and Nicolas Iantosca.
"It was great to see the guys compete this weekend," said
Benjamin Johnson, the Cary Leeds Head Coach of Men's Tennis. "We have a lot of ground to make up and really looking for next weekend at the Yale Invite."
"It was terrific to get back to competing this weekend," said Ji. "There is a lot to improve upon and take away from this tournament, and I am excited to continue improving alongside the team."
