2020: Season canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic

2019: United Soccer Coaches second team All-Northeast Region selection… Named first team All-Ivy… Anchored a defense that allowed just 14 goals in 18 games… Also was a contributor on the offensive end, finishing with five goals, including three game winners…Started 12 of the 14 games he appeared in… Three of his goals came in Ivy play and each was a game winner… Five goals tied for seventh in the league.

2018: Started nine games, the most of any first year… Appeared in 12 games… Tallied an assist in the win over George Mason.

High School: Two-time first team all-state selection at Blair Academy… Earned first team all-conference recognition as sophomore and senior… Scored 10 goals and had 13 assists as a sophomore… Helped lead Blair Academy to Mid-Atlantic Prep League championship, the first in school history… Two-year team captain.

Club: Played for Black Rock FC

Biggest soccer influences and why? Michael Ballack. He played with a level of professionalism that was second to none. He was a special midfielder who could play a long pass with his left and right foot. His willingness to support his teammates was also one of the characteristics that attracted me to him. Like me, he was furious whenever Chelsea FC lost a game, and I could relate to that feeling because I hate losing.

Why Yale? Yale stood out of the pack as a prestigious academic and athletic institution. I believe in the power of tomorrow, and I saw a better tomorrow at Yale University and the soccer program. Plus, I’d rather be a Bulldog than a chihuahua.
