Biography

2023: Rushed for 201 yards on 40 carries and had three receptions for 13 yards... Rushed for a season-high 57 yards in the victory over Sacred Heart... Had 40 rushing yards on eight carries in the win over Harvard... Co-recipient of the Chester J. Laroche Award, given to the senior on the squad, who by his character and academic talents, has given the most to Yale. 

2022: Missed season with injury.

2021:  Named All-Ivy Honorable Mention...Ranked fourth in the league with nine touchdowns despite only starting five games....Appeared in all 10 games...Led the Bulldogs with 446 rushing yards and eight rushing touchdowns...Awarded Ivy League Offensive Player of the week on Nov. 1 in a 37-30 win over Columbia after tying a career-high with three touchdowns on the day, scoring two on the ground and one through the air, and his 54-yard rushing score in the fourth quarter proved to be the difference...Led the Bulldogs with 74 yards rushing against Harvard on Nov. 20 in the 137th edition of The Game. 

2020: No season due to COVID-19.

2019: Played in five games at running back… Rushed 13 times for 59 yards and three receptions for 23 yards.

2018: Played in nine games at running back… Ivy League Rookie of the Week against Cornell… 384 yards and three touchdowns on the year

At South Lakes High School: Played RB/WR/RET… 3x 1st Team All-Conference… 2x 1st Team All-Region… Honorable Mention All-Region… 1st Team All-State… 2nd Team All-State… 1st Team All-Metro… Honorable Mention All-Metro… CoA Offensive Region Player of the Year… Northern Virginia HOF Player of the Year nominee… Pigskin Club All-Team… Also played lacrosse.

Personal: Spencer Alston is the son of Grace Cole-Alston and Todd Alston… Interested in economics.
