Biography

Notes: Recipient of Yale's 2022 William Neely Mallory Award, the most prestigious athletic award given to a senior male at Yale, which was presented at Class Day on graduation weekend... Graduated as the most prolific three-point shooter in school history, finishing with 271 career treys.... His 1,529 career points are the sixth most in school history... A two-time first team All-Ivy League selection, becoming just the 11th Bulldog to earn multiple year first team recognition.

2021-22: First team All-Ivy selection...  Finalist for the Lou Henson Award as the nation's top mid-major player... Earned NABC All-District 13 first team recognition... Most Valuable Player of the Ivy League Tournament... Started all 31 games... Second in the Ivy League in scoring (19.2 ppg.)... Finished 16th in the nation in free throw percentage (.891)... Led the Ivy League in free throw percentage... Participated in the 2022 Dos Equis 3X3U National Championship at the Final Four in New Orleans... Scored 18 points against Purdue in the NCAA Tournament... Scored 37 points in a win over Columbia, the most by a Bulldog in James Jones' tenure as head coach. 

2020-21: Season canceled due to pandemic

2019-20: First team All-Ivy selection… Named NABC second team All-District… Set a Yale single season record with 93 three-pointers… Finished 10th in the nation in three-point field goals made (3.21) and 19th in total three-pointers made (93). Second in the league in free throw percentage (.822) and sixth in three-point field goal percentage (.388)… Against Harvard, scored a career-high 33 points, including 27 in the second half. The 27-point half was six shy of Tony Lavelli's school record set in 1949, and the 33 overall points were eight shy of John Lee's school record for points in an Ivy game… Named the Ivy League Player of the Week after averaging 20.5 points and making 10 three-pointers in the home sweep of Columbia and Cornell…  scored in double figures in 25 of 29 games… Scored 25 points in the triple overtime victory over Siena, including a deep three-pointer at the end of regulation that forced overtime.

2018-19: One of four players to appear in all 30 games… Tied for seventh in the Ivy League in three-point field goals made (3.8 per game)… 54 of his 79 field goals were three-pointers… 54 three-pointers were second on team… Shot 40.9 percent from beyond the arc… Scored in double figures 11 times… Scored 15 points in the win over Harvard in the Ivy League Tournament championship game… Had 12 points vs. LSU in the NCAA Tournament… Tallied a season-high 17 points in the double overtime game at Memphis… Recipient of the team’s Josh Hill Dedication Award.

2017-18: One of only five players to appear in all 31 games... Finished 11th in the Ivy League in three-point field goal percentage (.391)... Second on the team with 54 three-pointers... Averaged 7.5 points... Scored 18 points in the home win over Princeton.

Before Yale: Massachusetts Gatorade Player of the Year as a senior at The Rivers School… Independent School League Co-MVP… 2016-17 All-USA Massachusetts Boys Basketball Player of the Year… Averaged 23.1 points and 6.3 rpg… Shot 50.9 percent from the field, 32.8 percent from three-point range and 89.5 percent from the free throw line as a senior… All-time leader The Rivers School history with 2,185 career points… No. 26 on the all-time Massachusetts scoring list (boys and girls)… Co-captain of team as a senior… Also played football and is the all-time touchdown leader at The Rivers School… Three-time first team All-ISL selection… Led Rivers to New England Prep School Class B Tournament semifinals… Played AAU for the Mass Rivals, who went undefeated in the summer of 2016 and was ranked No. 1 in the country.

Personal: Volunteered as a mentor and tutor to inner-city student-athletes on behalf of the Special Olympics… Volunteered as youth basketball counselor, coach and referee.
