Biography

2024-25: Won 13 matches in singles…. Won seven matches in doubles…Picked up a victory at the No. 4 position on Senior Day against Dartmouth…Competed on day one of the ITA East Sectional Championships.

2023-24: Second team All-Ivy in singles... Played in the No. 2 position in singles during Ivy League play... Played No. 1 doubles, predominantly with Erin Ha, during the Ivy season... Teamed with Ha at the ITA Super Regionals in the fall... Won her first singles match at the ITA Northeast Regionals.

2022-23: Missed the season due to injury.

2021-22: Posted a 19-8 record in singles... Won the Queen's Flight at the Columbia Invitational.

Before Yale: Northern California’s No. 1 ranked player for 14 months while at University High School… Ranked No. 18 nationally in December of 2020… Reached the quarterfinals of the Level 1 18-and-under indoor national singles tournament and the quarterfinals of Level 1 outdoor nationals… Named a 5-star recruit by tennisrecruiting.net.
 
Personal: Volunteers as a trained adaptive ski instructor for children and adults with cognitive and/or physical disabilities… Co-chairman of the junior board for the San Francisco Youth Tennis Coalition which raised money to completely rebuild San Francisco Golden Gate Park tennis courts and clubhouse which will feature a youth programming center… Dual citizen of the United States and New Zealand.

While the initial draw to Yale was its progressive tennis program and high-level academics, the ever-present support and sense of community was the deciding factor.”
