Biography
2024-25: ITA Scholar-Athlete...Finished ranked No. 3 in the New England region in singles…Had a 19-6 overall record in singles…Competed majority of the season at the No. 1 position…Teamed up with Edward Liao and Jason Shuler at the No. 1 position and had a 15-4 record in doubles…Finished as the ITA New England Regional Co-Champion in the semifinals…Qualified for the NCAA Division I singles championship.
2023-24: Second team All-Ivy selection in singles... Finished the season ranked No. 99 nationally in singles... Had a 20-12 singles record... Saw a majority of his action at No. 1 singles in Ivy play, posting a 4-3 record... Advanced to the quarterfinals of the ITA Super Regionals in the fall but had to default due to injury after winning the first set... He and partner Theo Dean made it to the Super Regional semifinals in doubles... ITA Scholar Athlete.
2022-23: Enjoyed a strong first season, posting a 26-12 singles record... Finished 15-14 in doubles.
Before Yale: Three-time first team All-Ohio selection at William Mason High School… 2022 National High School All-American… Nominee for USA Today’s High School Tennis Athlete of the Year… 2022 Ohio individual state champion… Ohio individual finalist in 2019 and 2021… Helped William Mason win 2019 state championship… National ranking high of No. 20…. Bronze ball winner at national indoor championships.
Personal: Worked with a nonprofit to aid and assist rural villagers with lack of healthcare during COVID… Taught tennis lessons to younger children in the community… Dad played cricket and mother ran track.
