The Yale Golf Course food and beverage offerings are led by Dom and Cheri Pirritino, who oversee both Widdy’s Restaurant in the clubhouse and the halfway house located near the 9th hole. With a shared passion for quality food and genuine hospitality, Dom and Cheri bring a service-focused approach that enhances the overall golf course experience.
Dom and Cheri have built a long and successful career in the food and beverage industry. They previously owned and operated the Actor’s Colony Inn in Seymour, Connecticut, where they established a strong reputation for excellence. During that time, they also launched Larry’s Landing behind the Inn, further expanding their culinary footprint before relocating to Florida.
In 2024, Dom and Cheri returned to Connecticut to be closer to their growing family and grandchildren. That same year, they successfully revived Larry’s Landing as a food truck in Derby, Connecticut. Known for its popular breakfast and lunch offerings, the Larry’s Landing menu and commitment to quality will now be brought to the Yale Golf Course, adding a fresh and welcoming dining option for golfers and guests alike.
