2016: Served as the teams everyday left fielder… Made 43 appearances, including 36 starts… Hit .276 with 23 runs, 12 RBI, 10 doubles and two home runs… Had a .426 slugging percentage in Ivy League play… Went 3-for-5 with a double and an RBI against Bucknell on March 26… Tallied five stolen bases on nine attempts… Had 64 putouts and one assist on 66 total chances only making one error on the season.
2015: Made 20 appearances, including 10 starts in left and center field... Hit .146 with two doubles, two RBI and four runs scored... Had a .350 on-base percentage in Ivy League play... Went 2-for-4 with a double, RBI and run scored in the season finale against Brown on April 25.
2014: Made 25 game appearances, with 17 starts in the outfield... In 58 at-bats, recorded 12 hits and seven RBI on the season, including one three-hit game against Brown on April 25... Hit an RBI single and scored a run in losses to Penn (March 31) and Cornell (April 5)... Had a four-game hitting streak between April 5 and 9.
2013: All-Ivy League Second Team selection… Made 37 appearances with 35 starts including 30 starts at third base, one start at second base and four in center field… Finished with a .281 batting average (36-for-128) with a team-high seven doubles, 17 runs scored, and 13 RBIs… Finished second on the team in hitting (.281), slugging (.336), hits (36), runs scored (17), at-bats (128) and total bases (43), and third in RBIs (13)… Recorded nine multi-hit games including Yale’s only five-hit game… Closed out the season with an eight-game hitting streak and a 10-game streak of reaching base… Went 5-for-6 with two RBIs and a run scored in a 9-1 win at Princeton on March 30.
Off the Field:
- Along with teammate Chris Moates, spent summer 2014 in the Dominican Republic with Athletes in Action playing against MLB feeder programs and local Universities while performing clinics and community service for the local villages
- Member of the Kiphuth Leadership Academy, which aims to develops student-athletes leadership skills to become leaders in sport and in life
- President and founder of the Yale Fly Fishing Club where members fish the local Connecticut streams on a weekly basis in the fall months
Before Yale: Four-year varsity starter and a star player at four positions (SS, 3B, OF, C) at Corona del Mar High School... Named the school''s athlete of the year and the winner of the Sea King Pride Award in 2011-12... The Sea Kings captain as a senior... Led his team to the CIF playoffs three times and was named All-Pacific Coast League Honorable Mention, All-PCL Second-Team and All-PCL First Team in his last three seasons ... The starting catcher for the Pacific Coast League''s All-Star Team, the Elite Baseball Series MVP and a two-year member of the Daily Pilot Baseball Dream Team... Also named the Daily Pilot''s Dream Team Player of the Year in football... A member of the National Honor Society, and was also a Boys State-California Delegate and a California Scholarship Federation selection for four years... Also played summer baseball for the Southern California Renegades for four years.
