Andrew Dickson, whose coaching experience includes a stint as head coach, joined the Yale baseball staff as assistant coach prior to the 2020 season. Dickson, who was at Northwestern in the fall of 2019, has coached 10 all-conference infielders in his career.
Dickson spent the 2018 and 2019 seasons at Lafayette, where he was the hitting and infield coach.
Dickson has lead offenses that have ranked in the top 25 in batting average and doubles at the NAIA level. Prior to his arrival at Lafayette he spent two seasons as the head coach at his alma mater, Brescia. He led the Bearcats to back-to-back River States Conference Tournament berths. Dickson spent the 2014 and 2015 seasons as the recruiting coordinator at NAIA power Indiana University Southeast.
Dickson started his collegiate playing career at Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica, N.Y., where he helped lead the Hawks to consecutive regional final four appearances.

Following his playing career at MVCC Dickson attended Brescia, where he became a utility man and started games at six different positions. Dickson graduated from Brescia with a bachelor's degree in integrated studies with a concentration in psychology and political science.
Dickson is a native of Oneonta, N.Y., and played baseball at Oneonta Senior High School.
