Joe Espinosa brings over four decades of elite baseball experience to Yale Baseball as a coach, instructor, clinician, and former Major League Baseball scout. A respected figure in the baseball community, Joe is the founder and full-time instructor at the Espinosa Baseball Training Facility in Wilton, Connecticut, as well as the founder and director of Espinosa Online Training which features MLB instruction from Perry Hill, Juan Nieves, Jeff Smith, Dave Wallace, and Dave Jauss.
From 2012 to 2016, Joe served as the Infield Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Amherst College, where he helped shape one of the top Division Ill programs in the country. 2026 will mark Joe’s fourth season on the Yale Baseball staff. His lifelong dedication to player development has earned him the trust and respect of professional organizations, collegiate programs, and countless players and families across the country.
