Josh Tower joined the Yale staff in the fall of 2022. He begins his college coaching career after a successful playing career at Eastern Connecticut State University and Franklin Pierce University. Tower was named the 2022 NCAA Division III Baseball National Tournament Most Valuable Player. In addition to his individual accolades, he was a member of the ECSU baseball team that won the 2022 NCAA Division III Baseball National Championship, Willimantic Super Regional Championship, Rochester Regional Championship and LEC Championship.

Tower has coached with the travel baseball organizations CT Crush and CT Edge and served as the camp director for Bob McLaughlin Summer Baseball Camps. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Franklin Pierce University and is working toward a Master of Science in organizational management from Eastern Connecticut State University.
