2014: Named captain of the 2015 Yale baseball team...Started 28 of 35 games for the Bulldogs, mostly in right field...Collected 21 hits on the season, including two doubles, two triples, and one home run...Knocked in seven runs and scored nine...Only one error in 49 fielding opportunities, good for a fielding percentage of .980...Two hits, including a home run, and two RBI against Dartmouth in the Rolfe Division playoff game...Hit a double and RBI triple in a win against Columbia on April 1.
2013: Started all 38 games with 36 starts at second base, one in left field and one as the DH … Finished with a .203 batting average (27-for-133) with three doubles, two home runs, 18 RBIs, and 19 runs scored … Led Yale in RBIs (18), runs scored (19), home runs (2), walks (11), at-bats (133), plate appearances (155), starts (38) fielding assists (92) and games played (38) and was second in stolen bases (6) … Belted two solo home runs, one at Virginia on March 19 and one at Harvard on April 14.
2012: Named Ivy League Rookie of the Week on March 13 after going 9-for-19 with two RBIs and three runs scored in five games … Made 44 appearances with 44 starts in his first season at Yale as the team''s second baseman and left fielder … Finished second on the team in hitting with a .306 batting average (45 hits in 147 at-bats) with five doubles, a triple, a home run, 15 RBIs and 14 runs scored. … led the team with 13 sacrifice bunts, was second on the team in hitting (.306), hits (45), and HBPs (6), and was third in plate appearances (174), home runs (1), total bases (55), and on-base percentage (.363). … Recorded nine multi-hit games with five two-hit games and four three-hit games … Went a combined 6-for-7 with a run scored in two games against Georgetown during the RussMatt Invitational. … Went 3-for-3 with his first career home run, two RBIs and two runs scored in the opening game of the final doubleheader of the season against Brown.
Off the Field:
- Works in the Yale University Athletic Department as a coordinator and contest manager, managing job placement for field hockey, volleyball, and men''s and women''s soccer events
- Counselor for the Yale Baseball Newtown Baseball Clinic, arranging and managing our annual baseball clinic for children from Newtown and those who attend Sandy Hook Elementary
- Volunteered with The Center in Houston, raising money through the selling of goods made by the intellectually disabled residents at local farmers'' markets
Before Yale: Three-year letter winner at Lamar High School... Garnered selection to the Houston 20-5A All-District Team in 2010 and 2011...
