2016: Appeared in 16 games and made two starts from the mound… Had an ERA of 7.26, with a 39-32 strikeout to walk ratio in 39.2 innings pitched… Had seven multi-strikeout games, his season high, seven strikeouts, against Harvard on April 17… Recorded no errors.

 2015: Made 13 pitching appearances with four starts... Earned a 1-2 record with a 4.04 ERA, the best among Yale starters and 15th-best in the Ivy League... Allowed 22 earned runs in 49.0 innings of work, striking out 24 batters... Held opposing hitters to a team-best .240 batting average... Named to the Ivy League Weekly Honor Roll on April 7... Pitched 14.0 innings in Ivy League games, recording a 3.21 ERA and holding opposing hitters to a .250 batting average... Allowed two runs on four hits in seven innings against Hartford on April 1... Pitched four scoreless relief innings against Columbia on April 5... Picked up a win over Wesleyan on April 21, allowing just three runs in seven innings.

Off the Field:

  • During summer and school breaks, helps run the pharmaceuticals company that his family owns
  • Participated in 27 hour marathon dance for charity that raised over 1 million dollars over the past decade for various local and national charities
  • In high school, attended a half day program, High Tech Academy, that offered engineering classes for college credit

Personal: Michael Andrew Scott is the son of Andrew and Mary Scott... Sister, Maggie, is 12 years old... First member of his family to attend Yale.
