2013: Made 36 appearances with 36 starts, including 34 starts in the outfield and two starts at first base … Also made one relief pitching appearance, in which he allowed one hit and one earned run in 1.2 innings in a loss to Army on March 9 … One of just three Bulldogs to start at least 35 games … Finished the season with a .280 batting average (35-for-125) with two doubles, 17 runs scored, and five RBIs … Finished second on the team in on-base percentage (.366), runs scored (17), walks (10), starts (36) and plate appearances (146), and was third on the team in batting average and slugging percentage (.296), hits (35), total bases (37), and at-bats (125).
2012: Mainly a relief pitcher, appeared in 13 games with three starts, finishing with an 0-2 record and an 8.56 ERA … Allowed 38 hits and 35 runs (26 earned) in 27? innings with 16 strikeouts. … Tied for second on the team in appearances (13) and third on the team in relief appearances (10). … Struck out a season-high four batters against Georgetown (March 9) and Fairfield (April 11).Â
