2018: Tied for second on the team with five wins as one of Yale''s primary starting pitchers...Made 11 starts on the hill for the Bulldogs with 58 strikeouts in 57 and 1/3 innings...Earned the win at Virginia on March 3 and allowed four runs in a seven-inning performance...Went 3-2 in Ivy League play, with wins over Brown, Harvard and a road victory at Princeton...Had 30 strikeouts in 31 and 1/3 innings in conference play.
2017: Used as a starter and out of the bullpen... Went seven innings to earn the win over Holy Cross on June 4 at the NCAA Regional in Corvallis...Allowed one run and struck out seven to earn the win against Dartmouth on April 24 in his first start of the season... Came out of the pen to throw 5 and 2/3 innings and earn the win at Harvard on April 15... Earned his first save of the season on April 10 after throwing 1 and 2/3 innings of scoreless relief.
2016: Saw action in 15 games, started four games on the mound… Finished the season with a record of 1-4, recording one save against Bucknell on March 16… Had an ERA of 7.71 in 28.0 innings of work… Was 1-1 in Ivy League play with four strikeouts… First collegiate multi-strikeout game was against Holy Cross on May 19.
Before Yale: Played varsity baseball for three years and varsity basketball for two years at Mamaroneck... Two-time captain of baseball... Went 10-0 with a 0.99 ERA in his senior season... Struck-out 97 batters in 78 innings... Named All-Section and All-State in his junior and senior seasons... Honored as New York State Class AA Player of the Year in 2015... Team was 2015 New York State Champions and 2015 Class AA Section Champs... National Honor Society member.
Personal: Named First Team All-NECBL summer after junior year and finished third best in the league with a 1.85 ERA. Son of Anant and Hema Nambiar... Both parents attended school in Canada... Hobbies include traveling to new places and being outdoors…Has two siblings, a brother, Sachin, who is a freshman playing baseball at Amherst College, and a sister, Simran, who is committed to play soccer at RPI.
