Allowed only two hits over eight shutout innings in a victory over Holy Cross on March 25... Pitched two innings of scoreless relief to earn a win vs. Iona on April 19... Earned a season-opening save at New Mexico State on March 3 after pitching a scoreless ninth inning.
2016: Appeared in 19 games, making seven starts and served as the teams closer at the end of the season… Finished the season with a 1-6 record and a team best four saves… Earned saves against Quinnipiac and Dartmouth (3)… Averaged 5.48 strikeouts per game, 27 total in 44.1 innings of work… Season high five strikeouts came against Columbia on April 2.
2015: Made a team-high 21 pitching appearances with one start... Selected Honorable Mention All-Ivy... Named to the Freshmen All-American Team by Collegiate Baseball... Won the team''s David M. Darst Hustle Cup for his contributions to the team through desire, enthusiasm, and hustle as a first-year player... Named to the Ivy League Weekly Honor Roll on March 24... Served as Yale''s closer, converting all four of his save opportunities... Went 3-2 in 26.2 innings with a team-best 3.71 ERA... Recorded a 30-10 strikeout to walk ratio while allowing opposing hitters just a .248 batting average... Earned saves against Rhode Island, Princeton and Brown (2)... Allowed one run and struck-out two in three relief innings against UMass-Lowell on March 19, picking up the win... Pitched 2.1 scoreless relief innings against Harvard on April 19, earning the win... Did not allow a run until his fifth appearance of the season... Tied for second in the Ivy League in wins among relief pitchers... In five plate appearances, he walked twice as a designated hitter.
Off the Field:
- Founder and administrator of the Under Wraps Blanket Drive in Nashville, TN, to collect blankets for those affected by tornados or other natural disasters
- Worked baseball camps and volunteered for younger baseball teams to spread his knowledge and love for baseball
- During summer 2015, will be a counselor for Camp Kesem, a summer camp for children with a parent or guardian affected by cancer
