Biography

2016: Appeared in 47 games, making 45 starts as the Bulldogs everyday shortstop… Hit .208 with 17 RBI, 15 runs scored, six doubles and two home runs… In conference play batted .281 with an on base percentage of .370… Went 2-for-4 with a homerun against Harvard on April 16… Had a five game hit streak from April 23 to April 29… Stole one base on one attempt.

2015: Saw action in 18 games, making 13 starts, mostly at shortstop... Hit .139 with two RBI and four runs scored, while stealing one base on two attempts... Went 2-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored in an 8-3 win over Princeton on March 30... Was 1-for-2 with an RBI against Harvard on April 18.

2014: Played in 30 games, starting 18 for the Bulldogs at third base... Hit .182 (12-of-66), with one home run, four doubles, 10 RBI, and 19 total bases... Smacked a pinch-hit three-run home run in a loss to Penn on March 31... Went 2-for-4 with two doubles and three RBI in a win over Harvard on April 20.

2013: Made 37 appearances with 34 starts including 26 starts at shortstop and eight at third base… Finished with a .157 batting average (17-for-108) with two doubles, one triple, 15 RBIs and three runs scored… Second on the team in RBIs (15) and fielding assists (65)… Had two hits and drove in a season-high four runs in a 15-5 win over UConn.

Off the Field:

  • Interned at UBS during summer 2014 as part of their Emerging Talents Program, spending one week in Zurich, one week in Switzerland and four weeks in New York City 
  • Unit Leader of the 6-8 year old division for the Yale Chapter of Camp Kesem, an organization that provides a one-week sleep away camp for kids from cancer-affected families
  • Interned at Delaware Investments, an asset management firm based in Philadelphia, within the Fixed Income Quantitative Group

Before Yale: Four-year letterwinner at The Gilman School... Started every game of his high school career at shortstop and led his team to the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association state championship in 2010 as a sophomore... As a senior, was the captain of the baseball and boys volleyball teams, winning the Baseball Cup and Volleyball Cup awards for athletic performance and leadership... Named a 2012 preseason "top player" by ESPN High School and played summer baseball for Under Armour Franchise... Graduated Cum Laude from Gilman and won the Elizabeth Woolsey Prize in 2011.

At Yale: Resident of Pierson College. Undeclared major.
