Abbey Earich joined the Yale Sports Medicine staff in August 2019 as the athletic trainer for the field hockey, men’s and women’s fencing and softball programs.
Earich recently earned her master’s degree in health services management from Elmira College, where she worked primarily with the Soaring Eagles’ field hockey, women’s basketball and softball teams.
A native of Canton, Ohio, Earich received her bachelor’s degree in athletic training from the University of Akron in May 2017. While at Akron, she provided care to the Zips’ volleyball, baseball, women’s soccer and track and field programs as well as a local high school and orthopedic clinic. Earich also spent time with the Akron Racers of National Pro Fastpitch and the College of Wooster.
