Mark McMaster was promoted to assistant coach (tight ends) in March of 2022.

McMaster joined the Yale football staff in February of 2021 as a defensive quality control coach while also assisting with the defensive backs. It was his second stop in New Haven as he also served as a recruiting and football operations intern during the summer of 2020.
 
Prior to returning to the Elm City, McMaster spent two seasons at Springfield College. He joined as a defensive backs coach and video coordinator in June of 2019 before being promoted to Special Teams Coordinator and safeties coach in November of the same year.
 
McMaster also spent time at Lackawanna College in Scranton, Pa., as he joined the team as a wide receivers coach in December of 2017. He was quickly promoted to recruiting coordinator and tight ends coach the following month and later added Pass Game Coordinator responsibilities in June of 2018, helping the team to an 11-0 record and an El Toro Bowl Championship.
 
McMaster got his start in coach in Dallas, Pa., at Misericordia University in August of 2017 where he was the running back coach that season before later adding wide receiver coaching duties as well.
 
McMaster graduated from Misericordia with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management and earned two varsity letters as a member of the football program. He is currently on track to finish his Master’s Degree in Education in Athletic Administration in May of 2022 at Springfield College.
