Yale

Mathieu Araujo joined the Yale staff in March of 2019 after spending two years at Boston College, which played in the New Era Pinstripes Bowl in 2017 and the ServPro First Responders Bowl in 2018.

Araujo also serves as the chair of Yale Athletics' Education & Workshops Committee.

Araujo worked with the defensive backs as a graduate assistant and helped the 2018 Eagles lead the nation in interceptions during the regular season. He was an intern coach with the Boston College defensive backs for the 2017 campaign, and that squad was 12th in Division I in interceptions. During those two years, he also assisted in mentoring two first time All Americans.

Araujo was a graduate assistant coach at Springfield College in 2016, where he obtained his Master’s Degree in Physical Education. During that time he was the special teams coordinator, and focused on the outside linebackers.

The former Bridgewater State University four-year football letter winner and 2015 graduate also served as an operations intern at Boston College and Harvard in 2016, and was an assistant coach at Maine Maritime Academy in 2015.
