Biography

Note: Member of the Ivy League Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and helped pen the proposal for the Ivy League to participate in the NCAA Division I Football Championship beginning with the 2025 season. 

2024 (Senior)
  • Appeared in all 10 games.
  • Recorded 39 catches for 431 yards and two touchdowns, second on the team in both categories.
  • Caught for a season-high 89 yards and two touchdowns in a win over Brown on Nov. 9.
  • Caught a season-high seven passes in a win over Penn on Oct. 25.
  • Named to Football Championship Subdivision Athletics Directors Association (FCS ADA) Academic All-Star Team
  • Named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team.
2023 (Junior)
  • Fourth on the team with 12 receptions.
  • Caught a season-high five passes in the win over Columbia.
  • First career TD reception came in the victory over Sacred Heart.
  • Named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team.
2022 (Sophomore)
  • Appeared in all 10 games.
  • Finished with 16 catches for 152 yards.
  • Career-high 29 receiving yards vs. Cornell.
  • Named to CSC Academic All-District team.
2021 (First Year)
  • Appeared in one game.

High School: Started his career at Monroe Township where he earned Offensive MVP honors and first team all-conference honors in his second season ... transferred to the Peddie School where helped the team to its first undefeated season in 40 years, along with First Team All-MAPL and all-area honors … played his final season at the Hun School where he again earned first team all-conference and all-area accolades.
 
Personal: Son of Michele and Michael Shipp … has two older brothers, Miles and Marcus … student senator for the Hun School.
