Notes: Sixth all-time at Yale with 71 career blocked shots 2007-08: Second in the Ivy League in blocked shots (35)... Averaged 7.5 points and 4.2 rebounds, both career bests... Named the first Ivy League Player of the Week after averaging 21 points in Yale's first two games... Posted his first career double-double (22 points, 10 rebounds) in the season opener against Sacred Heart. Was 11 for 16 from the field and added four blocks and three assists in 29 minutes... Scored 19 points on 9 of 10 shooting in the home win over Dartmouth. 2006-07: Started a career-high 25 games at center... Tied for fourth in the Ivy League in blocks (0.85 per game)... Before Yale: Averaged 14.3 points at North Myrtle Beach High School, where he was an all-league and all-area selection, named a McDonald's All-America nominee and was selected as scholar athlete of the year... Attended the ABCD Camp in 2003, where he was coached by Dan D'Antoni, who is currently an assistant coach with the Phoenix Suns... Also played for Beach Ball Select in Myrtle Beach, S.C., with Raymond Felton, who is currently with the Charlotte Bobcats. Personal: Matt has competed in several video game competitions, playing primarily Counter-Strike: Source. He placed first with team "The Final Stand", formerly known as Body Count at Web2Zone in New York City. He then joined Flowgaming and currently competes online in CAL.
