No. 5 Bulldogs Host Dartmouth Saturday

3 PM Game at Reese Stadium

 

 

The No. 5 ranked Bulldogs are back in league action at home this Saturday on Youth Day with an important, 3 p.m. contest against Dartmouth that airs live on ESPN+ and Stretch Internet. Yale players will be available after the game to sign team photos and posters.

SERIES
Yale leads the all-time series against the Big Green, 54-34 and the Bulldogs have won the past 9 meetings. The most recent Dartmouth victory came in 2009.

LAST MEETING
The Bulldogs scored on their first 4 possessions and had a 4-goal lead in the first 1:46 on the way to a 17-7 win over Dartmouth at Scully-Fahey Field last April. Jackson Morrill had 5 goals and 7 points and Matt Gaudet added 4-1-5. 

BULLDOGS
Yale, which had its win streak end at 6, outshot Penn 66-47 but lost a triple-OT, 13-12 contest at Philadelphia last week. Matt Brandau led the Blue with 3 goals and 5 points while Matt Gaudet hit the net 3 times. Jack Starr turned aside 15 shots in Yale's first regular-season league loss since Harvard in 2017.

BIG GREEN
Dartmouth brings a 2-6 mark to New Haven coming off a 15-5 loss at Cornell last week. The Big Green, 0-2 in league play, lost 12-9 at home to Harvard the week before. The team from Hanover has wins over Wagner and Binghamton in the third and fifth games of the season.
