Biography

Career: Played in 111 games, scored 527 points, grabbed 287 rebounds and handed out 198 assists.

2016-17: Started 28 games… Led team with 115 assists… Finished third in the Ivy League in assists (4.1 per game), fifth in minutes played (32.2 per game) and sixth in assist/turnover ratio (1.6)… Became the starting point guard one week before the start of the season when Makai Mason was lost to injury… Named the Ivy League Player of the Week after scoring 30 points in the home win over Brown… Missed the regular season game at Princeton due to illness… Returned to his native Pittsburgh when the Bulldogs played Pitt… Recipient of the team’s Stan Smith Senior Award.

2015-16: Started the final 10 games of the season and scored in double figures six times… One of five players to appear in all 30 games… Fourth on team with 19 three-pointers… Scored 12 points and added four assists in win at Columbia that clinched the outright Ivy League title… Scored 12 points and grabbed five rebounds against Duke in the NCAA Tournament… Recipient of the team’s Most Improved Player Award.

2014-15: Appeared in 27 games off the bench… Shot 71.4 percent from the free throw line… One of nine players to average double figures in minutes played… Scored seven points and grabbed seven rebounds in the victory over Hartford.

2013-14: Recipient of the team''s John C. Cobb Award as rookie of the year… Appeared in 26 games… Made his first career start at Mercer… Scored a career-high 10 points against Vermont.

Off the Court:

  • Studied abroad at the London School of Economics

Before Yale: Most valuable player of the national prep championship at Northfield Mount Hermon… Played two seasons at Mount Hermon… Averaged 16.0 points, 5.4 rebounds and 4.8 assists in 2012-13… Helped lead Mount Hermon to its first NEPSAC AAA championship and its first national prep championship… First team all-league selection… Played two seasons at North Allegheny Senior High School… Averaged 24.4 points, 7.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists in his second year at North Allegheny… Set a school record by scoring 47 points in a game… Played with Ohio Basketball Club AAU team.

Notes: Part of the 2014 World Vision Sports USA Select team that travelled to China in May of 2014…The U.S. Select team visited Chongqing, Guangzhou and Liaoning and played in a four-nation tournament against teams from China, Slovenia and Australia. In addition, there were games against Chinese professional teams.
