Notes: Two-time honorable mention All-America selection, Yale’s first multiple time All-American since Butch Graves was selected in three straight years from 1982 to 1984… Yale’s only two-time Ivy League Player of the Year… Yale’s first three-time first team All-Ivy selection since Chris Dudley (1985-87)… Recipient of school’s 2016 William Neely Mallory Award, the most prestigious athletic award given to a senior male at Yale… Only player in school history to score 1,700 career points and grab at least 800 career rebounds… Third all-time at Yale and 14th in Ivy League history in with 1,700 career points, fourth in school history with 818 career rebounds, second in school history and eighth in Ivy history with 475 career free throws made and second in school history and fifth in Ivy history with 200 career blocks… Fourteen career Ivy League Player of the Week selections, the most in league history.

2015-16: Honorable mention All-America selection… Ivy League Player of the Year… First team All-Ivy… Named to NABC District 13 first team… Participated in the Reese’s College All-Star Game at NRG Stadium during the Final Four in Houston… Invited to prestigious Portsmouth Invitational… Senior CLASS Award finalist… 18th in the nation in offensive rebounds (3.68 per game)… Sixth in the Ivy League in scoring (15.7 ppg.), fifth in rebounding (7.5 rpg.), fifth in field goal percentage (.526), 10th in assists (2.8 per game), second in blocked shots (48) and tied for seventh in minutes played (31.0 per game)… Scored 18 points on 7-of-10 shooting from the field in NCAA Tournament victory over Baylor… Had 31 points and nine rebounds in victory at Penn… Shared the team’s Dutch Arnold Most Valuable Player Award with Makai Mason.

2014-15: Ivy League Player of the Year, the first Yale player to win the award since Paul Maley in 1988… Associated Press All-America honorable mention selection, first Bulldog to be selected since Butch Graves in 1984… Named to U.S. Basketball Writers Association All-District I team… Selected to NABC District 13 first team… Named to the Mid-Season Watch List for the Lou Henson Award, presented annually to the Division I Mid Major Player of the Year… Finished fourth in the Ivy League in scoring (14.3 ppg.), third in rebounding (7.5 rpg.), second in blocked shots (73) and fifth in field goal percentage (.512)… Five-time Ivy League Player of the Week selection… Named the most valuable player of the Men Against Breast Cancer Classic after averaging 15 points and 8.7 rebounds in three games at Kent State… Scored the 1,000th point of his career in the win at Sacred Heart, the first Yale player to score more than 1,000 points prior to senior year since Ed Petersen in 1990-91… Posted eight double-doubles… Averaged 16.1 points, 8.1 rebounds and shot 56 percent from the field in 14 Ivy games.

2013-14: First team All-Ivy selection… First Yale sophomore to earn first team recognition since Chris Dudley ’87 in 1985 and only the third in school history… Named to the NABC District 13 first team… Finished third in the Ivy League in scoring (16.9 ppg.), fourth in rebounding (6.8 rpg.), sixth in field goal percentage (.517), seventh in steals (1.2 per game) and second in blocked shots (62)… Ninety offensive rebounds were the most in the league… His 244 free throw attempts and 170 free throws made were both the second most in a single season in school history… Averaged 19.5 points in 14 Ivy games, which tied for the league lead… Averaged a league best 7.9 rebounds in Ivy games… Over final four games of regular season, averaged 25 points and nine rebounds, highlighted by a 28-point, 13-rebound performance against Harvard… Named to the postseason CollegeInsider.com all-tournament team… Averaged 15.3 points in four tournament games… Missed the championship game with an injury… Scored in double figures in 27 games and posted eight double-doubles… Five time Ivy League Player of the Week selection… Recipient of the team’s Dutch Arnold (MVP) and George McReynolds (Defense) Awards… Scored 31 points on 13-of-16 shooting from the field at Providence… Dunk against Harvard was selected No. 7 in ESPN SportsCenter’s top-10 plays of the day.

2012-13: Fourth highest scoring (9.5 ppg.) freshman in the Ivy League…Finished sixth overall in field goal percentage (.489) and eighth in rebounding (5.3 rpg.)… Grabbed 78 offensive rebounds, second most in the league… Tied for the team lead in rebounding and second in scoring… Named Ivy League Rookie of the Week after scoring 18 points in win over Brown… Led team in rebounding in 11 games and in scoring in seven games… Scored the winning basket on a put back in the final seconds of a 64-62 victory at Bryant… First career double-double (10 points, 12 rebounds) came against Army… Scored a team-high 15 points on 7-of-11 shooting against Florida… Recipient of the John C Cobb Award as team’s rookie of the year.

Before Yale: Earned first team all-state, all-area and all-county honors as a senior at Plainfield High School… Had 1,048 points and 1,063 rebounds in his career… Second player in school history to score over 1,000 points and grab more than 1,000 rebounds… Averaged 13.4 points, 12.0 rebounds and 3.2 blocks as a senior… Helped lead Plainfield to two New Jersey Tournament of Champion title games where it lost to national power St. Anthony’s both times… Plainfield won two Group 3 state championships… Played with Villanova point guard Tyrone Johnson and Fairleigh Dickinson’s Sekou Harris… Played for New Jersey Demons AAU team.

Personal: Graduated from the Academy for Information Technology but since it didn’t have a basketball team, played for Plainfield… Has played tennis since the age of four… Didn’t start playing basketball until eighth grade.
