2018-19 (Sophomore): No. 6 seat of the 3V that won gold at Sprints and took silver at IRA nationals.
2017-18 (First-Year): 2V: 3rd @ Crew classic, 4-1 Dual season, Dilver @ Eastern Sprints, Bronze @ IRA, Beat Harvard @ Harvard Y-H race
Before Yale: Awarded an “All-Rounder scholarship” honoring a student who demonstrates considerable talent in two or more of the following categories: art, music, drama, sport, academics… Received an award in Radley’s music exhibition… Member of Radley’s first varsity 8+…Member of Great Britain’s U16 Rowing Team.
Personal: Son of Pernille and Hugh Elwes… His brother, Charlie, is also a member of Yale’s Heavyweight Crew Team… Plays the bassoon.
